Abstract: The present study was intended to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic achievements among 11th graders. The convenient sampling technique used to draw the sample of (N =120) from different colleges of district Chakwal, Pakistan. The Wong & Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (Wong & Law, 2002) was used to measure the construct. Pearson correlation demonstrated that there was significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and academic achievements, whereas t-test yielded non- significant gender difference on emotional intelligence.
